1. This is a particularly good time to consider membership in Philadelphia/TriState Artists Equity. Besides lending your support to the only artists advocacy group of its kind in the region, you’ll gain access to a steeply discounted subscription to Art Calendar, as well as the opportunity to submit, at no additional cost, to a juried exhibition taking place at the Berman Museum, an extremely posh exhibition venue on the campus of Ursinus College.

This year’s juror will be Rick Snyderman of Snyderman Gallery in Philadelphia. Jurying will be accomplished by evaluating the actual work (no jpegs on CD or slides will be acceptable).
The delivery day for jurying will be Monday, May 18, with dropoff from 1 to 7 p.m., at the Berman Museum. Be sure to mark your calendars now! You will be able to submit two works for consideration by the juror and there will be no size or weight restrictions other than that the work must fit through the 8′ x 8’ loading dock doors.
Due to a very short turn-around time between delivery and pick-up of declined work, you must call the Berman Museum of Art (610-409-3500.) between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20th to find out whether your submissions were accepted.
Work accepted can be left for hanging. Work not accepted will need to be picked up in accordance with the schedule set forth below.
The exhibit dates are May 29 to September 4, 2009 with the opening reception to be held on Sunday, June 7th between 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., in conjunction with the AE Annual Business Meeting. AE Business Meeting and AE Award Presentation 1p.m. Gallery Talk: 2-3 p.m.
